Mostly clear skies were found across the plains states overnight, as 
a ridge of high pressure moved across the Missouri valley. Early 
morning temperatures ranged from the upper 40s in southern 
Nebraska, to the lower 50s in Oklahoma.

Mostly clear and pleasant conditions are expected across the region 
today, as the ridge of high pressure continues to shift east into 
the Ozarks. High temperatures today will range from the middle 70s 
in northwest Missouri, to the upper 70s across central Kansas.

A chance of showers and thunderstorms returns to the high plains of 
western Kansas and eastern Colorado tonight, as southerly winds 
return to the region. The rest of the region will see partly cloudy 
skies. Low temperatures tonight will be mainly in the lower 50s.
